HTML
HTML stands for Hyper Text Markup Language.It is mostly a markup language for web pages.It is a mean to create structured documents by denoting structural semantics for text.For example headings,paragraphs,lists as well as for links,quotes and other items.It allows objects and images to be embedded and it can be used to create interactive forms.It is written in the form of HTML elements consisting of"tags" surrounded by angle brackets within the web page content.It can include or load scripts in languages such as JavaScript which affect the behaviour of HTML processors like Web browsers and Cascading Style Sheets.The creator of HTML is Tim Berners-Lee.He created HTML in 1980.He and Robert Cailliau created the World Wide Web project.HTML is the encoding scheme used to create and format a web document.The first version of HTML was HTML 2.0,which was released in 1995.
